Fraudster scams senior for hunreds of dollars

On July 4th a local senior fell prey to a fraudster who took almost $1000 dollars of her hard earned money.
On Wednesday July 4th at approximately 1:30 PM a 91 year old senior residing at the Kiwanis Village on Nelson St was approached by an adult male claiming to be her nephew.
The senior was on her outside deck when the male approached. After convincing her he was her nephew, he said he needed the money so he could get his car fixed. He indicated he would pay her back immediately. The senior then traveled with him on the #3 bus to the CIBC bank located in the Country Club Mall. Once at the bank the senior went inside and withdrew the money. The male stayed outside during the transaction. The senior then walked outside and handed the money over. After receiving the money, the male left the area immediately.
The suspect is a white male, late twenties,approximately 5 ft 5 and scruffy looking. He had short red hair and was wearing a silver/red wind breaker.
